Arla on Ubuntu

Hi,
I have Ubuntu Hoary with Linux version 2.6.10

abhay at abhayks:/usr/src/linux$ uname -a
Linux abhayks 2.6.10 #2 Thu Apr 14 14:39:45 IST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

I have compiled this kernel to load the arla nnpfs module, However
when I do modprobe nnpfs

abhay at abhayks:/usr/src/linux$ sudo modprobe nnpfs
FATAL: Error inserting nnpfs (/lib/modules/2.6.10/arla/nnpfs.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

dmesg:
nnpfs: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted.
nnpfs: Unknown symbol put_filp
nnpfs: Unknown symbol page_follow_link

I have compiled arla-module-sources and used various versions of arla,
even the one suggested by torkel .

abhay at abhayks:/usr/src/linux$ dpkg -l | grep -i arla
ii  arla           0.36.2-11      A free client for the AFS distributed networ
ii  arla-modules-2 0.36.2+10.00.C A free client for the AFS - Kernel Modules
ii  arla-modules-s 0.38-0.0torkel Source to generate arla-modules


Please help me in this regard.
