First, do
$ fs nnpfsdebug all
to turn on full debugging in the kernel module. It will log to
/var/log/messages if the interface was installed properly.
Then, start the static arlad with
$ ./arlad-static -z -n --debug=almost-all
in a separate terminal. See if there are any errors. My binary was built
with the standard arla paths, so if your system uses other paths (as debian
may do), you want to add additional arguments to get it to use the right
cache directory, config, etc. Hmm. It will probably look for ThisCell and
CellServDB in /usr/arla/etc, doesn't look like there are any arguments to
change this.
If all seems well, try accessing /afs and see what happens.
Btw, what's your version of the libc6 package?
