This is how it was on some documentation, and I just picked it off that.
Well, I have now changed it so that there are no spaces.

However, now I am getting
faheem /afs>klog
faheem at isis.unc.edu's Password:
klog: Unable to get an AFS token: Unknown error code passed
(krb_get_err_text)
and arlad -t gives me
root /afs>arlad -t
2000-09-25 22:42:35: arlad: getting ticket for isis.unc.edu: No ticket
file (tf_util)
However, it returns to me a prompt, and if I do ls I get a load of
stuff like
(1, 536870913, 1, 1): .
(1, 536870913, 1, 1): ..
(1, 536870913, 2, 2): isis.unc.edu
(1, 536870913, 4, 3): isis
(1, 536870913, 6, 4): .isis.unc.edu
(1, 536870913, 8, 804): transarc.com
(1, 536870913, 10, 2605): @cell
(1, 536870913, 28, 7817): physics.unc.edu
(1, 536870913, 30, 7818): physics
(1, 536870913, 18, 2809): .isis

(1, 536870913, 26, 5414): nd.edu
(1, 536870913, 32, 7819): transarc
[truncated]
which I recognise as the stuff I get when I am logged in to the remote
server, cd to /afs and type ls. Also, I can use cd and cat (for publicly
accessible files). So it does suggest it is finding the CellServDB file
and contacting the remote server. Is this correct? However, if I cd to
/afs in my own home directory and do ls I get nothing.
So, what should my next step be, and should I try adding a patch and
rebuilding or something?
Gosh, I never expected this to be so hard. :-)
Thanks for all the help.
Faheem.
