Just want to clarify this. Arlad does (or at least) shouldn't have any
problems with whatever libc version you use.

glibc2.1 is "good"/working since it uses the the getcwd syscall instead of
the opendir(".")/stat dance that is the common "unix" way. libgetcwd uses
the syscall (if it exist).

So its programs using xfs/arlad that need glibc (really need to use the
getcwd syscall).

Guess krb_afslog_uid appeared in later kth-krb. And as magnus already told
you you should seriously think about upgrading.
