Arla has worked fine for a few days now (I kludged around he
WITH_OPENSSL issue when building, and now I have also switched to
using kauth --afs rather than kalog to obtain tokens).

But now I'm getting "PANIC WARNING" messages,

maskros kernel: NNPFS PANIC WARNING! data_valid w/o tokens!

and arlad is using 90% cpu. strace shows a loop

  read(9, "@\0\0\0\10\0\0\0\7\274]\2\377\377\377\377\350\3\0\0\350"..., 65536) = 448
  gettimeofday({1169642179, 678307}, NULL) = 0
  futex(0x8113ba4, FUTEX_WAIT, 2, NULL) = 0
  futex(0x8113ba8, FUTEX_WAKE, 1) = 0
  futex(0x8113ba4, FUTEX_WAKE, 1) = 0
  futex(0x80baa80, FUTEX_WAIT, 13007163, NULL) = 0
  futex(0x80b8638, FUTEX_WAKE, 1) = 0

repeated over and over again, with only the return value from
gettimeofday changing, and the argument

  futex(0x80baa80, FUTEX_WAIT, 13007163, NULL) = 0
                               ^^^^^^^^

incremented two units at a time.

I'm going to restart arlad now, hoping that the machine doesn panic.

egards,
/Niels
