xfs has been discontinued from Arla a long time ago. You may want to ask your
maintainer about porting a recent version of arla.

I think it boils down to: If I have nnpfs device (that's what xfs is
called nowadays), can I mount that more than once? Then there might be
more issues with the chroot, but first I think we'd need more than one
mountpoint. I really don't know the answer, but someone on the list
may.
