Problem compiling 0.39 with linux-2.4.29

Compiling arla 0.39 under linux-2.4.29 (Slackware 10.1) with heimdal-0.6.3nb3
(from pkgsrc) using configure options:

  $ ./configure --with-krb5-lib=/usr/pkg/lib
--with-krb5-include=/usr/pkg/include/krb5 --with-arlacachedir=/vice
--with-sys=/usr/src/linux

and gcc -v:
