hints for compiling Arla on OS X 10.3

I created /etc/openafs/ThisCell containing my AFS cellname, "umbc.edu".
Running the mafslog.app (located in /Applications) and clicking
"authenticate" seems to successfully fetch an AFS ticket in kerberos:
[paul at emulate-us /afs/umbc.edu/users/p/s/ps1/pub]$ klist
Kerberos 5 ticket cache: 'API:Initial default ccache'
Default Principal: ps1 at UMBC.EDU
Valid Starting Expires Service Principal
05/12/04 14:39:39 05/13/04 00:39:39 krbtgt/UMBC.EDU at UMBC.EDU
renew until 05/19/04 14:39:39
05/12/04 14:40:01 05/13/04 00:39:39 afs at UMBC.EDU
renew until 05/19/04 14:39:39
But, it doesn't seem able to transfer the ticket to the Arla token
store:
[paul at emulate-us /afs/umbc.edu/users/p/s/ps1/pub]$ /usr/arla/bin/tokens
Tokens held by Arla:
[paul at emulate-us /afs/umbc.edu/users/p/s/ps1/pub]$
And doesn't allow me access to my home directory:
[paul at emulate-us /afs/umbc.edu/users/p/s/ps1]$ ls
Mail/ backup/ home/ pub/
[paul at emulate-us /afs/umbc.edu/users/p/s/ps1]$ cd home
-bash: cd: home: Permission denied
Would I have better luck just running with kth-krb for now? I'm willing
to try anything at this point ;-)
Thanks,
-Paul
