I don't know exactly where, but from .19 onwards vendors and kernel.org
kernels start to have the "we hid the syscall table" feature which does
defeat how Arla and OpenAFS work. There are some workarounds in OpenAFS
for that and Arla development folks have just been too fed up with this
stuff to bother fixing it yet. As the problem is more political than 
technical it is extremely tiresome to fix.

About the NFS message: If we should look at the problem we need to
know all relevant version numbers and the syslog output after enablig
debugging with

# fs arladebug almost-all
# fs xfsdebug almost-all (if 0.35)
# fs nnpfsdebug almost-all (if 0.36)
