Problem unmounting file systems

I have seen the same problem on my Debian Gnu/Linux unstable, so for now I
am running linux-2.4.9. There seem to be quite a lot of changes in the
filesystem part of later linuxes. That may be why you are experiencing
problem, since the latest non-snapshort of arla (0.35.6) is older than
linux >= 2.4.12. I have not tested the latest snapshots, so I can not
comment on them.

What patches are applied to your "2.4.9-13" I can not tell, but there might
be patches that have been incorporated upstream in later kernels. Atleast
the vanilla 2.4.9 (with devfs) works with arla. Tried 2.4.12, 2.4.13 and (I
think) 2.4.10 and they experienced the same problem.
