Trouble compiling arla-0.35.3 on Solaris 7

Hi,

I'm having trouble compiling arla. I have tried to search for any
comments regarding similar problems, but I haven't found anything.
For reasons I won't go into here, I'm trying to set up arla on a
SPARCStation running Solaris 7. I usually use Linux, so I'm not
entirely familiar with the inner workings of solaris; I'm not sure if
that has any bearing on my inability to find a solution.

Has somebody encountered a similar problem?
Is there perhaps an undocumented dependency that requires a certain
package to be installed on the Solaris system? The system is pretty
bare right now.

Some system information:
Solaris 7 Sparc (I think it is a 32 bit kernel)
gcc-2.95.2
kth-krb4-1.0.6
