got data w/o token

I am running arla 0.35.2 under Linux 2.2.18, and I am being
plagued by thousands of messages

     avl kernel: XFS SoftAssert: xfs_message_installattr: got data w/o token!

which appear on all session screens and under all shells about once every
20 seconds.  I remember once before we had something like this, and
there was a patch to turn these off....
