Still true.  After kinit'ing arla-cli will get an afs ticket.  afslog 
will neither get a token nor a ticket.  No printout even with the -d 
option.  I suppose there's a log somewhere I can look at, maybe, for 
more information?  I'm using the institutional AFS kerberos server so 
I can't easily look at that log.

klog gets a token, viewable with tokens.  kinit gets a ticket, 
viewable with klist.
