arla on FreeBSD 4.0 + Linuxulator anyone?

I've also produced a kernel crash dump for the problem.  The backtrace 
isn't helpful and doesn't refer to arla/xfs at all.  If anyone can
use, I'll gladly put it up.

Here's what the xfs debug log says before the machine freezes.
(Again, this is acroread.  Generally, everything that stats is subject 
to the problem, albeit not in all directories.)  Any hints on how I
should debug this?
