arla 0.33 still loses track of pwd sometimes

Thanks.  Can you try grabbing the current code from CVS and see if you
still get pwd failing?  I've redone and fixed code in there related to
.. handling (which is usually what causes pwd to fail).  I haven't
been able to get it to fail for a little while.

I've also upgraded the apwd program to include an verbose option.  So
if it fails, please try `apwd -v 4>&1'.  Thanks.
