./configure'ing arla cvs checkout...

I've issued the command
env CVS_RSH=ssh cvs -d anoncvs at anoncvs.stacken.kth.se:/stacken-cvs checkout
arla
to checkout the latest version of arla, then I type the command
cd arla
autoconf # to generate the configure file? Looks like it needs to be
# generated
env KERNEL_CC=kgcc ./configure
and I get the following output....
<snip>
checking for dvips... dvips
checking for chmod... chmod
checking for guile-gtk... no
./configure: KRB_CHECK_X: command not found
./configure: AC_FUNC_NTOHL: command not found
checking for kernel stuff... none
configure: warning: No kernel support for , compiling only user-level stuff
./configure: line 1953: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_CONDITIONAL(OSF1,'
./configure: line 1953: `AM_CONDITIONAL(OSF1, test "`uname`" = OSF1)'
Am I running the autoconf command improperly? Sorry for the novice
questions.
My purpose here is to try and get an arla-0.34.1 .rpm file going. I
guess I should just get the pinstripe .tar.gz file. that is what I will
do next. But I thought it would be nice to be able to just do a clean
cvs checkout and then bundle that up. But that may be a mistake since
one wants to start from a clean distribution.
Will there be a 0.34.2 comming out soon?
Cheers. Steve.
