Hi Assar,

After dumping emacs (with me it's emacs, not xemacs !) the resulting file
is OK + excutable until the next reboot. Strange enough, a copy done with
'cp' is also OK, but with 'install -c' it is garbled.

I have done some ktraces of the src/emacs execution, the dumping process and
the cp and 'instll -c'. Would these be useful to you ?
