unresolved Linux kernel symbols when loading xfs.o

Hi All,
FWIW the xfs module compiles and loads OK if the -DMODVERSIONS
flag is removed. It seems to work OK with a 2.0.33 kernel on a
RH 4.2 box, but with RH5 (2.0.32 or 2.0.33) no dir entries appear
under /afs...is this a known feature.

cheers,
Alex Martin
