Do you know the cause of this? -DMODVERSIONS should be there, or
otherwise the module won't load into the Linux 2.1 kernel. It is also
a Good Thing to have that version info there. The problem should be
fixed with a kernel that behaves correctly. Have you checked that your
kernel version is the same as the header files?
