0.20 build & install problems on i386 netbsd1.3H

My mistake.  GNU sed 2.05 is installed on my machine.  It complained
about a bad option to 's' when the two substitution commands were
strung together, and gave a non-zero exit status.  I don't remember if
this was one of the, ah, less functional versions of GNU sed that's
come out.
