Slow-scan Television
Slow-scan Television (SSTV) is a method to transfer pictures using audio
frequencies, usually on top of radio waves. It is popular as an amateur
radio application but has historically even been used during space
missions. I will present the history of SSTV, how it works and how it is
used in amateur radio. I will also try to compare it to analog TV and
fax. Finally, there will be a live demo.
Herbert Lange (University of Gothenburg)

The lecture is free and open to everyone.
