Huh? Vad menas med "UNIX based applications"? Vilket "UNIX"? SCO?

Ser ut som att n.ANdr man klickar i "Ndndra passwd" rutan sNe krypteras lNvsenordet (gissar md5 eller crypt)
och skickas till unixdatan som k.ANvr en ssod som sedan byter det i /etc/{passwd,shadow,whatever}.
