arla on FreeBSD 6 or 7?

Hi there,

any chance of getting a working arla for the newer FreeBSDs?  Some of us
are really hurting out here ...
    
(I know, I know, I wish I had the expertise to provide significant
technical help myself.  I'm certainly grateful for the years arla has
worked for me - I wish to use it some more years.)
