Don't think so, nnpfs doesn't care much about what's in the fid, it's just
a number. In general.

Well, for nnpfs it's part of the protocol. Can't think of any valid reason
why, though. Dunno about the inode numbers. Is it the kernel or nnpfs that
gets confused?
