Problems getting arla started

Hi,

I'm running a number of Fedora Core 2 machines with the 2.6.6-1.435.2.3
kernel. I downloaded and installed the arla-0.36-6 rpm

I couldn't start arla with

/etc/rc.d/init.d/arla start

I got a message about a missing device

and then I realised that arla's modules where being installed in
/lib/modules/2.6.6-1.435/kernel/fs/ but my fs modules where in
/lib/modules/2.6.6-1.435.2.3/kernel/fs/ so I copied them with

cd /lib/modules
cp 2.6.6-1.435/kernel/fs/nnpfs.ko 2.6.6-1.435.2.3/kernel/fs/

That fixes the problem about the missing device, but now I get

Loading nnpfs: FATAL: Error inserting nnpfs
(/lib/modules/2.6.6-1.435.2.3/kernel/fs/nnpfs.ko): Invalid module format

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

TIA
