Installation problems on linux/debian

Well, it kinda works ;-)
Now I can load the module, open /dev/xfs0, start arlad (it's the one
from the debian arla package, arlad --version says 0.35.6).
However, when I tried to access /afs, I got a message "kernel: XFS
Panic: readdir on NULL cache file". Which is a somewhat confusing
message, I'm used to "panic"-messages from the kernel to be followed
by a reboot...
Should I upgrade to a more recent arlad? I'm not sure what libraries I
need, I've installed the heimdal libs but I don't know if that is
enough.
