Hm, OK; that's a disconcerting observation.

Always; I have additional script stuff, post-install, which changes
ThisCell to cs.cmu.edu and adds --fake-mp to startarla.

(Why isn't --fake-mp in the default configuration?  Why would one ever
/not/ want it?)
