Hm, looks like there is code in xfs_dev.c which does fix that. I'm looking at the #ifdef HAVE_STRUCT_TASK_STRUCT_PENDING which configure should have defined for you in include/config.h. When compiling for 2.4 I'd try with current source from CVS to start with. Harald.
