Mac OS X authentication problems

Well, one thing you need is to update the services table with NetInfo
manager, that's what's causing the unknown services messages (I ran into
this myself). But that's not what keeping you from authenticating to
kerberos.
In the last week I've put up some instructions for installing the arla
binary for OS:

Being new to this myself, I don't know that that page will help, but
