Segfault in 0.34.3

Also happens in 0.34.4pre2

I'm running the Linux 2.4.0-test9 kernel and krb4-1.0.2, it's a Slackware
7.1
distribution with all the latest security updates from www.slackware.com

say /afs/whatever/foo.bar exists (and has > 0 size, this doesn't happen when
the file is empty),
do...
cp foo.bar   foo.tmp   (works OK)
cp foo.bar   foo.tmp   (seems to be OK)
cp foo.bar   foo.tmp   (Segmentation fault, and foo.tmp is zero size!)  

Can this be related to the caching problems referred to?
