CALL FOR PAPERS/PARTICIPATION
We seek papers that address theory, development, evaluation,
tools, techniques and methodologies related to administration
of distributed systems.
The workshop MADE2000 - Management and Administration of
Distributed Environments - will explore research, new ideas and
qualified experience in the area of administration of distributed
systems. We are as interested in academic papers as in examples of
work or demonstrations that can be shown during the workshop. We
hope that some of the presentations at this workshop will fill a
part of the gap after Transarcs late conference Decorum. We expect
a mix of people from universities and the industry interested in
issues concerning administration of scalable distributed systems.
Keywords: administration, AFS, Arla, availability, backup,
client-server, CODA, conference, CORBA, DCE, Decorum, DFS,
