"Waiting for busy volume" == "Network is down." ?

Bad news. This doesn't work.

I tried the busy volume today, and now I can't get access to it again,
even though it is no longer busy, I continually get network is down.

All the arla related logs (I turned on debugging momentarily and tried
to cd to /afs/umr.edu/users/nneul.) are below:

I've noticed I frequently get the lost connection messages.
