I rebuilt kth-kerberos then arla with the patches.

  try this patch:

  Index: lib/kafs/afssysdefs.h

This fixed the fs command but still no tokens for afs. I get the tgt just
fine just no AFS fileservice ticket. Arlad gives the following messages
for afslog and kauth:

Afslog

  > - After using AFS for awhile arlad will hang:

  Try the appended patch.

  --- fcache.c.orig Mon Mar 16 11:16:39 1998
  +++ fcache.c    Sat Mar 21 20:51:21 1998

This doesn't hang arlad anymore but the following behavior is observed under
FreeBSD:

	/afs/merit/software/src geeb at mooselicks% ls
	ls: .: Permission denied
                                                                                	/afs/merit/software/src geeb at mooselicks% cd ..
	..: Permission denied.

But with the Transarc client on a Solaris box:

	geeb at rbt% cd /afs/merit/software/src
	/afs/merit/software/src: Permission denied.

	geeb at rbt% klog
	Password:

geeb at rbt% fs la .
	Access list for . is
	Normal rights:
   	  admin:sys-team rlidwka
  	  system:administrators rlidwka
	  system:authuser rl

  > PS: Is their an archive of arla-dinkers online?

Sorry but no. I'll set up on from at least now on.

Thanks. Where will it be kept?
