Strange.  Can you run trace on afslog and send me the output?

Nothing seems wrong in your output.  Could you nuke the cache
directory (rm /usr/arla/cache/*), run it again and send the output?

It seems to me that this problem isn't happening in xfs.  Anyways, you
enable debug output by replacing the lower-case x's with upper-case
ones in xfs/linux/xdeb.c.
